Experience Required:Major Function: Reporting directly to the location General Manager and Director of Sales, the Event Manager will oversee the coordination of execution of all events in accordance with Stars and Strikes’ guest service standards. Major Responsibilities: 1. Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support Event and Birthday Hosts, ensuring they perform in accordance to Stars and Strikes standards. 2. Have a proactive approach with all clients 3. Interact with every parent and serve as point of contact for all parties 4. Responsible for the successful execution of all parties and events. 5. Assist in execution of bill presentation to clients 6. Create party signage for all events 7. Review Event Host’s work to ensure accuracy. 8. Conduct walking site inspections throughout property for walk-in guests. 9. Monitor group activity, providing assistance as needed. 10. Communicate with sales, kitchen, games and all departments for event specifications. 11. Create and distribute detailed event orders to all departments. 12. Establish rapport with meeting planners while promoting Stars and Strikes services. 13. Monitor, replenish and update marketing materials this includes printed and digital collateral. 14. Create and monitor staff schedule. 15. Manage an inventory of event supplies. 16. Assist sales staff in promoting Stars and Strikes, developing leads and securing re-bookings. 17. Responsible for event room set-up to Stars and Strikes’ standards. 18. Update and Generate weekly reports. 19. Answer phone and professional and welcoming greeting. 20. Become educated in Meriq, Vector, Micros and Embed software. 21. Computer skills to include proficiency in Word and Excel. 22. Complete other duties as assigned.
Wage or Salary:Education and Experience Requirement: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Special Job Requirements: 1. Experience in a high volume environment. 2. High energy and outgoing personality a must. 3. Must be able to problem solve. 4. Excellent organizational skills. 5. Proven leadership experience. 6. Professional appearance demeanor.
