Author Nadeen Green will share her story Let There Be Dragons. It is a cautionary tale for children (and is bilingual in Spanish and English). The story is about fictional fairy tale dragons that are driven to the sea because people are afraid of them. It raises awareness of the real sea dragons and protecting their ocean habitats. The book highlights the need to share our planet with all creatures. The artist will also discuss the way illustrators make the story come alive in pictures. In Paint Love’s signature style, our fourth annual Art Auction brings together original work from some of Atlanta’s favorite artists and a new way to honor our most impactful project teams from the past year- the Impact Awards. The event is open to all ages, although you must be 21+ in order to drink. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is limited parking on site. There is some street parking near the venue, and ample parking in downtown Decatur, which is within walking distance.
